Export Control and Antitrust Compliance Acknowledgment

I understand and acknowledge:

  • U.S. export control requirements, including special rules for nuclear technologies and for deemed export to foreign nationals based in the U.S., apply to my access to and use of EPRI Materials. EPRI Materials include research results, draft or final deliverables, products, data, reports and beta or final software programs or other materials owned by EPRI, licensed/disclosed to EPRI, or provided to me directly by others in an EPRI forum or other collaboration.
  • U.S. export control requirements apply regardless of the form of access (paper, tangible media, downloads, online collaboration websites or databases, email, site visits, meetings or discussions) to the EPRI Materials.
  • My obligations regarding U.S. export control requirements apply during and after my and my company’s engagement with EPRI. To be clear, the obligations continue after my retirement or other departure from my Company, and include any knowledge retained after gaining access to EPRI Materials.
  • The potential penalties for violating U.S. export requirements include financial penalties; criminal conviction; and loss of the right to export and/or debarment from government contracts for my company and/or me. I will consult my company’s or my own legal counsel if I have questions about these obligations or other issues with contributing my Company’s intellectual property to a collaborative effort.
  • My event participation will comply with applicable U.S. and foreign antitrust laws.
